Grading your work

I want you to do a total of 6 photo repairs.  Keep all of them. 


You need to enlarge them on the screen to do a good job.  You are replacing pixels and it works very well if you enlarge your photo and do careful work.  Make sure you have replace selected on the top left for mode.  I would rather you take time and do it right than rush through it and have it look amateurish.

The correct answer is...

A lesson for all of my classes. 


Please do your own research and investigation into things you hear or facts you are given.  Information can easily be skewed to reflect the way someone wants the world to be or the way they wished it would be.  Finding the truth is not easy and with the internet, anyone one can say anything and have it instantly published as "the truth."  Use multiple sources that do not have an agenda they are promoting.  Where are you getting your information?  Is the site, book or person unbiased?  What is the reputation of the source?  Does the source have an agenda?  Always, Consider your source. And yes, that includes me!  I have been wrong in the past and I will be wrong in the future.  If I teach you something that you believe to be incorrect, then prove me wrong.  Shoot, I'll give you a couple of bonus points for doing the research.

If you are not done you should have a good start on it. We have more projects coming up. After you are done with your cover and have it in the folder, go to your indisgn book you started and add the cover and any other work to your book. One award will go to a Girl Scouts of the USA troop and the other award will go to a Boys & Girls Clubs of America center that has the highest number of doodles among the 400 State Finalists. In the event of a tie, we will consider the highest cumulative quality scores for the tied submissions.

Could you have your kids make a flyer/poster or something magical for a mini campaign I am working on? I want to call it the Quest for 500.

Could some of this be used on the promo....

In 2008 Point Loma posted 306 passing AP scores.

In 2009 we had 348

In 2010 we accomplished 482 passing scores

We also received notoriety from Newsweek magazine.

Plus, College Board members recognized our AP Program as one of the most improved California.

This year, we are shooting for 500 passing AP Scores. We want to dominate in the classroom as we do on the playing field.

Everfi

Upon successful completion of our course, students are certified with a solid financial knowledge base they can build upon, which in turn can serve as an attractive credential on their application to post-secondary schools. For those students about to begin their careers, EverFi Certified is a valuable distinction which will aid them in their pursuit of an entry-level job.

Registering Student Account and Student Log-In

1. Have students go to www.everfi.net and select “Student Self
Registration” below the login fields.
2. Have students enter the class code you generated and fill in all of
the required fields. Students get to create a unique User Name and
Password. Encourage them to make it memorable and write it down.
3. Select “Submit”. The student account has now been created!
4. Click on the “Curriculum” tab to access the 10 Learning Modules.
EverFi Certification is earned by successfully completing all ten
modules.
5. The Overview must be completed first, then move forward. There will
be a pre-loading game at the beginning of each module. You will see a
% done in the bottom right hand corner.

Use this to create account depending on which period you are in.

New assignment. Create a illustrator design for a mobile phone, hopefully yours. Go to device central in illustrator and choose your phone. If it is not there pic something close and create a design with your new skills. You can send it to your email and open it up on your phone and save as your phone image.
